Why I built ReachBack

I kept watching the same thing happen to local businesses: the service was good, the owner worked hard, and customers still drifted away, not because anything went wrong, but because nobody followed up. A missed appointment quietly becomes a missed customer. A slow week quietly becomes a slow month.

I wanted something that handles that follow-up automatically, without feeling like a robot texting your customers: reminders, a nudge when someone hasn't been in for a while, a quick request for a review after a good visit. The kind of thing I'd actually want running in my own business.

"I asked the AI what to do about a slow week"

One of our first businesses hit a slow week. Bookings were down and she wasn't sure why. I opened the ReachBack AI assistant and just asked it directly: "Bookings are down this week, what should I do?"

It looked at her contact list, found a segment of customers who hadn't booked in 60+ days, and drafted a win-back campaign on the spot. We sent it that afternoon. Three people rebooked within 48 hours.

Ask me anything about your business
Bookings are down this week, what should I do?

Here's where things stand:

  • 0 bookings on the calendar for the next 7 days
  • 13 contacts in your list — that's your best asset right now!

Here's what I'd recommend:

  1. Run a re-engagement campaign — text dormant customers a quick "we miss you" message with an incentive
  2. Send a promotion — something like a flash deal ("Book before Friday, get 15% off") can drive quick action

Want me to preview a campaign to your contacts? Just tell me who to target and what you'd like it to say — no messages get sent until you review and approve everything. 🙏
